What does ShipSmooth actually do?
We’re your U.S. fulfillment partner. You ship your inventory to our Springfield, Virginia warehouse, and when your customers place orders, we receive them automatically through your store, pick and pack the items, and hand them off to UPS, USPS, or another carrier the same day — as long as the order comes in by 2pm EST.
Where is ShipSmooth located, and why does that matter?
Our warehouse is in Springfield, Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C. That puts us within two-day ground shipping reach of more than half the U.S. population, including all major East Coast and Midwest markets. For most U.S. customers, that means faster delivery and lower shipping costs than fulfilling from the West Coast.
Do I need to be a U.S. company to use ShipSmooth?
Not at all. We specialize in helping international sellers reach U.S. customers. You bring the brand and the inventory, and we handle the U.S. side — receiving, storage, fulfillment, and carrier handoff. You don’t need a U.S. business entity to get started.
How does pricing work?
We keep it simple. If you’re shipping fewer than 50 orders per month, fulfillment is free. Once you grow past 50 orders per month, fulfillment is $0.99 per order. Receiving and storage are free for your first month, and after that we charge based on the volume of inventory we’re holding for you. No hidden fees, no surprises.
Which sales platforms and stores do you integrate with?
We work with most major e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, WooCommerce, and others. If you have orders coming in, we have a way to receive them automatically. Just reach out and we’ll confirm compatibility with your specific setup.
How long does it take to get set up?
Most sellers are up and running within a few days. Once you reach out through our Get Started page, we’ll walk you through inventory shipping instructions, integrate with your store, and confirm everything is connected before your first order hits. From there, fulfillment runs on autopilot.
